I tend to gravitate towards all things science.   And in my opinion, one of the best uses of Youtube is the ability to view cool (and possibly dangerous) science experiments from the safety of my La-Z-Boy.  To wit:

Here’s a simple and cool demonstration of some properties of refraction and refraction index:

Next, a vid of something every boy who has ever played with Hot Wheels has wanted to do … see if you recreate a loop with a real car (fast forward to about 3 minutes into the video to get to the actual demonstration):

Finally, something that’s not really an experiment, but very cool nonetheless.  Here are some great Space Shuttle highlights from the launch of STS-129 (the actual launch starts 4:15 into the vid).  Makes me want to be an astronaut.
