At least he’s honest

During bedtime prayers, K always asks J and A “What’s one thing you’re thankful for and one thing you’d like to say to God.”

Usually, A will give us a cute but requisite answer like “I’m thankful for you, Mommy.”  J tends to grudgingly blurt out something like “dinosaurs.”

Until the other night.

This night, K asked the question, to which J pontificated with the following:

“I’m thankful for the healthy snacks at school …”

Hey, pretty good so far, even though the odds that he actually eats the “healthy” snacks are pretty slim.

“…and I pray for A even when she annoys me.”
