Just what are they teaching at school?

J and A brought home some interesting art yesterday.  It was Thanksgiving related, and, I’m guessing, a take on the Chick-fil-A commercial series where cows implore the viewer to “Eat Mor Chikin.”

OK, my initial question is from where did “deer” come? J doesn’t eat anything remotely resembling deer.  Was it something they talked about in class?  Has he been spending too much time around his deer-hunting uncle?

I think this one is going into the kid artwork hall of fame.  Such a vastly different meaning from one little mirrored letter.  And I especially like the teacher-added clarification.

I can just see the nervous smile as she wrote the little smiley face.

….and I remember having trouble….way back….with the d vs. the b . But in this case it has a real substance difference. Maybe S will have to try cooking the deer in beer !!!!!
