Yet Another 6 Months

J had his 6-month cardiologist appointment today.  If you remember his last appointment, you may recall the interesting environment in which it was held.  And once again, we were in a plastic surgeon’s office, which provided endless opportunities for comedic picture-taking.

Yes, they were still there.

K thought this was appropriate, given this week's birthday.

So, on to the non-juvenile-related-humor topic.  J had another good checkup.  Everything sounded good.  But this appointment was a little different, since they put on a Holter monitor to record his EKG over a 24 hour period.  Since we knew this was coming, we decided it would be a good appointment for A to come along.

Faux-bobsledding is one way to keep two 5-year-olds occupied while waiting for the doctor.

While it didn't hurt, J was less than thrilled.

So now J gets to wear the whole contraption for 24 hours.  After that, we’ll drop off the monitor and wait for the results.
