Last Day of Kindergarten

Yes, today was the last day of kindergarten for J and A.

As part of their end-of-year festivities, they put on a Reader’s Theater, where each of the kids read as a character in a short story.  First up was J’s group.

He's looking rather confident in his abilities.

A was in the next group.

Can you tell she picked out her own clothes?

I’ll spare you the entire story, since it was about 15 minutes long.

And no, I’m not kidding.

Here’s one of A’s lines.

Now they are officially in grade school.

Ugh.

  1. quotation marks Says:

Ah now they’re first graders…..teenage years not too far beyond..hang on.
As to the shoes, it appears the store is now empty, so no need for me to go shopping. Good presentations. Both groups did well and seemed to have fun. Nice outfits. A will always be picking her own…..and probably J’s too. Now it’s the first day of summer(I think). New challenges ahead.
Now where were the caps and gowns? Thank goodness those were not part of their last day of KINDERGARTEN. Upward and onward; first grade here they come.
