The CPQ effect

When we started this blog, its sole purpose was to document some of the fun things the kids did or said.

Without arousing the suspicions of the authorities.

Our audience is very small: a few relatives, a couple of close friends, and ourselves.  Usually, this readership holds true, since we average around 14 views of the blog each day.

That was until Monday.

You see, our good friend, The Carpoolqueen, posted several links to our blog in her Monday post.  Being an up-and-coming blog celebrity (is that a blogrebity?) with quite a following, the spike in traffic was, shall we say, significant. As in an order of magnitude greater than our usual traffic.

Since I always enjoy visual examples, here’s what I mean:

statsOoooooo.  Pointy.
